You will laugh, you may cry, you will for sure think WTF!

My marketing genius ask that I start a few blogs for #agentmomlife (AML) to build content, a library. Of course, since I never wrote a blog, I had no clue what to write. She suggested a few ideas, including the fear of filming (blog#2!) But before we go into depth on how I hate being on camera, I was truly fearful of my first blog. In fact, everything I am doing for this site is entirely OUTSIDE my comfort zone. But without challenge, there is no growth and I try to live up to my own expectations. But before we get started…

Something you will learn about me: I am a hopeless romantic. But not like fairytale ending romantic. Like Shakespeare and Edgar Allan Poe romantic. You will laugh, you may cry, you will for sure think WTF! And not everything has a happy ending. In fact, reality can be crippling. But perspective is tricky. As humans, we have the ability to manipulate it with our mindset. You know the saying “Our world is as we see it” I want to engage and leave people different from when they started with me; whether it’s  GRRREATor O..M..G.. scenario. So lets see how well I accomplish this!

Blogging tips.

Be genuine, and don’t over expose. Agentmomlife is about sharing my journey in life wearing many hats. I will give you a peek of my personal world which is very VERY vulnerable (F#@✓!!). But I will not give my privacy away. I haven’t lost respect with myself, or more importantly.. to the ones I love. It will be a balancing act. Educate, engage and get people to relate with your personal experiences through your blog without giving away the cow. When you start writing, share with intention without over exposure.

Write about something you love. When you speak about love, your passion exudes your audience! You naturally, unintentionally get them to fall in love!!! Who doesn’t want to be in love? Again, this is me being a hopeless romantic, but love is universal in every culture, every human being. Now, not everyone will fall in love with your blog and THAT’S OK. But the people who will be most relatable, will also be your loyal cheerleaders.  And THEY are what matter.

Connect. Writing for ego or accolades is ok… but be careful that when you are connecting with people from your perspective that you are not talking down to them.  Have you ever thought about what happens when you climb that mountain? When you think of the top of a mountain, what is the terrain? I close my eyes and I see an arid environment, I feel cold wind and my ears tingle from the bitter breeze. It’s cloudy, foggy, and I am alone. Isolated. Blogging with ego will set you on the highest mountain…alllll by your lonesome. Blogging about your journey, talking to people through your blog about the experience..now you are holding hands, helping people join the mountainous journey. And you’re not alone. Aren’t there enough mountains for all of us to climb?

Thank you for reading and motivating me to write this blog.. I look forward to reading yours!! Please tag me so I know that I had a little, tinny, tiny inspiration to your piece and that we are joyfully partying on top of the mountain together!! #agentmomlife
